The shutdown even affected public transportation leaving hundreds of passengers going home for Dashain stranded.
Kunwar of Malakheti-7, Attariya was abducted by the armed group of around six-seven people who came in a red jeep with Bagmati registration at around seven on Saturday evening.
Locals claim that the jeep was parked at Attariya Chowk since the afternoon and the weapons-wielding persons, with hair cut resembling security personnel, abducted Kunwar after arranging a meeting on the phone.
