At least four killed as jeep veered off

DADELDHURA, March 29: Four passengers were died on the spot and eight others left wounded when a Jeep veered off and rolled about 100 meters from the road at Amargadhi-1 along the KI Singh Highway around 1:30 am on Friday.



According to Krishna Prashain, Chief at District Poice Office, Dadeldhura, the ill-fated jeep (Se 1 Ja 329) skidded off the road when it was on the way to Mahaendranagar from Dipayal, Doti carrying patients.[break]



Police said that all the deceased are from same family and they have been identified Riyon Devi Majhi, 35, Kmala Majhi, 38, Netra Majhi,3, and Dila Bahdur Majhi of Silgadhi-9.



Among the injured, three are said to be in critical condition and they have been sent to Nepalgunj for the further treatment. Others are undergoing treatment at local TEAM Hospital.
