Ashesh & Nekhvam's musical exchange program

KATHMANDU, MARCH 20: Ashesh and Nekhvam are bringing to Nepal a musical exchange program, ‘North meets South’ in association with Seljord Folk High School, Norway on March 21, Wednesday.



The event is scheduled to start at 2:30 pm at the Agni Hall in Direction Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) at the United World Trade Centre, Tripureshwor.[break]



The students of Seljord will open the show with Ashesh and Nekhvam taking over. The final jam session will have Nekhvam play alongside Vidar in violin and Kjetil in Saxophone, both music teachers at Seljord Folk High School, Norway.



Ashesh and Nekhvam have been partnering with Seljord Folk High School, Norway from 2010 when the band carried out a workshop at the Norwegian school.







The concert is the second edition after the immensely successful show at the then Gurukul theatre in Battisputali last year.



The idea behind the show, according to the group, is to “develop the relation between Norway and Nepal and alongside showcase an International music scenario.”

The show,has its ticket priced at Rs 250 each.
