KATHMANDU, July 16: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Nepali Congress leader Arzu Rana Deuba held a meeting on Saturday at New Delhi. Deuba had a meeting with Dahal who reached Delhi on Friday.
Arzu had reached New Delhi a few days ago.
Nepali Ambassador to India Shankar Sharma and Dahal's daughter Ganga Dahal were present during the meeting. Earlier, there was a meeting between Dahal and Deuba at the dinner organized at the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi on Friday evening.
Before leaving for India, Dahal had told reporters at Tribhuvan International Airport that they “We may meet in Delhi.” "But the purpose of our visit is different." Dahal, who reached India at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party, is today meeting with Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Indian Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
