KATHMANDU, Sept 13: Aryan Giri of Nepal has advanced to the quarterfinals of the ANLTA Asian Junior Tour U-14 Ranking Tennis Tournament circuit two on Tuesday.
In the match held at the Satdobato Tennis Complex, Aryan defeated Rohan Bikram Chaudhary. In other matches of the boys' singles, Arnabh Pathange of India, winner of the circuit one, overcame another Indian player Ambitious Goldsmith 6-1, 6-1 while Aadit Subedi of Nepal beat Samragya Katwal of Nepal 6-0, 6-1.

Similarly, Ibhyak Joshi, Samyak Bhusan Bajracharya and Saharsha Chand of Nepal became victorious as they defeated Saharsha Parajuli, Sashikanta Thakur and Sampuk Rai respectively.
In the girls' singles, Abhilasha Bista of Nepal overcame Priyanka Chaudhary 6-0, 6-0 while another Nepali player Ira Rawat, winner of circuit one, beat Rayana Shah 6-1, 6-1. Similarly, in the same section, Prerana Koirala, Laxanya Bishwanath, Alsha Regmi reached the quarterfinals defeating Sarwani Shrestha, Shruti Tamang and Angel Dangol respectively.
Isha Shree Shah, Sneha Yadav and Saloni Tamang of Nepal also progressed to the quarterfinals as they overcame Pranabi Pradhan, Lumu Lama and Saurabhi Katwal in straight sets.
Likewise in the boys' doubles, the pair of Saharsha and Aadit, pair of Sashikant and Srikant, the pair of Arnabh and Ambitious and the pair of Ibhyak and Samragya advanced to the semifinals.
In the girls' doubles, the pair of Abhilasha and Ira, the pair of Laxanya and Prerana, the pair of Isha Shree and Rayana and the pair of Alsha and Saloni also reached the last four.
Players from Nepal and India are participating in the tournament that is being organized by All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association with the help of Asian Tennis Federation.
