Arrest warrant against British national

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Nepal Police have issued an arrest warrant against a British national over his alleged involvement in fraudulent activities.



Nigel Gifford, a British national, has been allegedly involved in fraudulent activities. [break]



Gifford who was also involved in organizing ‘Everest Skydive’ in 2008 escaped without paying the due amount of US Dollars 160,000 which was collected from the clients of Explore Himalaya, Suman Pandey, president of Explore Himalaya Travel and Adventure informed.



Pandey had filed a complaint against Gifford.



The police would take action against the culprit if found guilty, DSP Lal Mani Acharya of Metropolitan Police Office, Hanumandhoka informed.
