The first half ended 2-0 and just after three minutes of the restart, Armed Police’s Nabin Lama scored the third goal to put the result out of Kawran’s reach, considering that the winning team kept Kawran under pressure throughout the match.
Kawran got one back as Alamgarh scored from a header for the losing team in the 78th minute, but that wasn’t enough for Kawran and it lost in the pre-quarterfinals.
Both the teams got plenty of good chances throughout the match. Kawran’s goal scorer Alamgarh got a chance near the post in the first half, but could not utilize it. He also got another one in the second half, but again failed to convert it.
