Apollo Hospitals reduces tariff for Nepali nationals

KATHMANDU, Feb 27: Customers of Shangri-la Development Bank will get discount in medical check-up in Apollo Hospital in India.

KATHMANDU, Feb 27: Customers of Shangri-la Development Bank will get discount in medical check-up in Apollo Hospital in India. Dr Rabindra Prasad Shrestha, chairperson of the bank and Ashok Bajpai, CEO of the hospital signed the MoU on Tuesday.


The MoU has been signed targeting bank customers to get easy and high quality of health services in the hospital. Following the agreement, the customer can swipe the visa card provided by the bank to get the health service form the hospital. They can get 5 to 10 percent discount in various services provided by the hospital including room charge, diagnosis, and other check-up among others with this agreement.

Speaking at the program, chairperson Shrestha mentioned that the MoU is the result of the initiative of the bank and it will not only benefit the customer of the bank but also to all Nepali seeking medical service in India.


CEO Bajpai said that this step by the hospital is an attempt to provide quality healthcare at affordable prices for patients from Nepal.
