KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): Api Power Company said Friday that it was waiting for a power purchase agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority to materialize before starting construction of the 8-MW Upper Naugadh Hydropwer Project on the Naugadhgadh Khola in Darchula district. Issuing a statement after holding its 12th annual general meeting on Friday, Api Power said it had also applied for a survey license for upper the 400-MW Chameliya Hydropower Projectf. The company's 8.50-MW Naugadh Hydropower Project started generation on August 20, 2015.
