APF secures 3rd position in nat’l volleyball championship

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Under the seventh edition of the National Women's and Men's Club Volleyball Championship, the Armed Police Force (APF) team has secured the third position in the men's game.

APF defeated Nepal Police Club in a set of 3-1 and won the prize money of Rs 100,000 by securing the third place in the championship organized at the stadium of National Sports Council in Tripureshwor.

Nepal Police won the first set 25-15 against the APF. But all subsequent sets were won by the APF team which won the second set 25-20, the third set 25-23 and the fourth and final set 25-18.
