APF recovers Rs 24.85m from BoK's collapsed building

KATHMANDU, May 4: Armed Police Force (APF) has recovered Rs 24.85 million from the collapsed building of Bank of Kathmandu (BoK). The search and rescue team of APF on Monday recovered the cash from the BoK's Balaju branch office.

The team led by APF Inspector Dhirendra Chand also recovered US$ 2,879 from the debris. The team had opened the safe and locker of the bank in the the presence of bank officials and local people. Branch manager and security manager of the bank were also present during search operation.
