APF extends winning streak

KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Leader Armed Police Force Club (APF) extended its unbeaten run to six matches with the end of day four in the Dhorpatan Blue Sky National Women Double League Volleyball Tournament. APF recorded two wins on Tuesday to win all six matches in the tournament and top the table with 18 points.



On Tuesday, APF thrashed Bijeshwari School by 25-3, 25-4, 25-4 in the first encounter and beat Shree Janaki School by 25-2, 25-8, 25-3 in the second match.

Meanwhile, New Diamond Academy claimed fifth win to remain in the second position with 15 points with five wins. New Diamond recorded 25-13, 25-7, 25-7 against Everest School.


Similarly, Western Region beat Shree Janaki by 25-10, 25-4, 25-6, Nepal Police Club defeated Dhading Artists Club by 25-5, 25-10, 25-10 and Angel's Heart recorded 25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 23-25, 15-7 win over Chandeshwari Club in the five set match.
