The apex court has also ordered the minister and the secretary at the irrigation ministry to be present before the court within seven days in connection with Hada’s transfer.

On August 23, the apex court had issued an interim order staying Hada´s transfer. The court had also issued a show cause notice to the government.

Hada in her petition had claimed that the defendants appointed Pratap Kumar Pathak as the secretary at the ministry of irrigation in defiance of the SC verdict. That time, Hada had maintained that the officials at the ministry of irrigation refused to receive the letter regarding the court order.
