ANFA  calls  58 players for closed camp training

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has called a total of 58 players for the closed camp training.

Of the total players called by the Acting Head Coach of National Men's  Football Team Bal Gopal Maharjan,  24 players are new players receiving call-ups from the preliminary squad of the two-friendly series against Bangladesh that was held earlier in November.

The Nepal team will begin the camp at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato as a preparation for the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the AFC Asian Cup China 2023, according to the ANFA.

Skipper Biraj Maharjan is back along with Aditya Chaudhary, Bimal Gharti Magar, Santosh Tamang and Dinesh Rajbanshi.  Midfielder Bikram Lama will miss the camp due to muscular injury. 

The team will officially begin the camp behind the closed doors after meeting up at the ANFA Hostel on December 12.
