Set to take place on Wednesday at Dashrath Stadium, the match between Nepal and Bangladesh has prompted ANFA to prohibit various items to ensure the safety and orderly conduct of attendees.
Issuing a notice, ANFA outlined that weapons (including guns, knives, and sharp objects), smoking materials (such as cigarettes and lighters), and intoxicants (alcohol and narcotics) are strictly forbidden. While small bags will be permitted after screening, large bags are banned from the stadium.
Additionally, protective gear (such as helmets), unauthorized publicity materials (including banners and posters), projectile objects (like water bottles and stones), laser pointers, and illegal substances (including narcotics) are not allowed. Tickets for final match to be sold in-person
Tickets for the final match of the SAFF Women's Championship 2024, featuring Nepal and Bangladesh, will no longer be available for online purchase. The match is scheduled for Wednesday at 6:30 PM at Dashrath Stadium.
ANFA has canceled its contract with Mount Everest Sports and Events Pvt Ltd, which previously held the rights to sell tickets. Instead, ANFA will handle ticket sales directly.
Tickets will be available from two locations on Wednesday morning: Jawalakhel Sports Ground, and ANFA Complex at Satdobato. A total of 11,000 tickets will be sold, with 10,000 general tickets priced at Rs 500 and 1,000 VIP tickets at Rs 1,000.
Previously, 4,100 general tickets and over 1,500 VIP tickets had been sold online, but purchasers will receive refunds due to the cancellation of online sales.
ANFA cited increased security concerns following the semi-final match against India, where ticket sales exceeded stadium capacity. Reports indicated that Mount Everest Pvt Ltd sold more than 18,000 tickets despite the stadium's maximum capacity of 14,000.
