KATHMANDU, Feb 24: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) permitted listing of an additional 101,086,710 units of new stocks in the country’s secondary market last month.
According to the NEPSE, it permitted trading of schemes of a mutual fund and bonus shares of four companies during mid-January and mid-February. Of these, NIC Asia Growth Fund-2 has brought into trading its 90.5 million units in the secondary market.
Shangri-La Development Bank listed its 1,633,095.86 units of bonus shares while Himalayan Distillery introduced 2,429,566.65 units of its bonus shares. Likewise, Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha had 1,595,045 units and Garima Bikas Bank had 4,928,302.71 units of their bonus shares listed at the NEPSE during the review month.
