KATHMANDU, Feb 4: The all-party meeting held at Singha Durbar in the capital on Saturday has ended.
The leaders at the meeting discussed issues related to constitution drafting including the system of governance, the peace process and other contemporary issues including the House obstruction.
Leaders of various small parties represented in the Constituent Assembly were of opinion that the dispute between the three major parties is mainly to blame for the stalled peace process and urged the major parties to resolve their differences at the earliest.
Talking to media persons, CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal said, “We discussed about the formation of national consensus government, peace process and other contentious issues in the new constitution.”
The meeting between the three major parties, UCPN (Maoist), CPN-UML and Nepali Congress is scheduled for Sunday morning.
