KATHMANDU, Aug 23: All parts of the country are experiencing light to moderate rainfall across the country since morning today.
The monsoon low pressure line is currently located in the northern part closer to Nepal. In addition, Nepal is also facing an influence of the low-pressure area in and around the central Madhya Pradesh of India.
Light to moderate rainfall likely in some parts of the country...
As a result of which, light to moderate rainfall is being experienced in several locations across all the provinces. There is a normal to complete change in the weather across the country this morning, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Similarly, there will be a general shower over the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in a few places in the hilly areas of the country including Sudurpaschim Province. There is also a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in one or two places in the Sudurpaschim Province.
The officials at MFD have said that there will be normal to complete change in weather over the country tonight as well. Light to moderate rain is expected at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and few places in the rest of the province. There is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
