The finance minister emphasized that the Trade Union should play a significant role to create opportunities of employment for jobless people.
He expressed the belief that workers and entrepreneurs should know each other through continuous talks and should make their relations friendly. Minister Mahat added that the government is going to organize an investment summit in May next year to bring in investment in Nepal.
Stating that the cost of industrial goods produced in Nepal could not be made less as compared to imported goods, he expressed the view that remuneration of workers has not been timely increased due to low productivity.
