Housefull 5 release date pushed to 2025
Not only his acting skills and high-octane stunt sequences, B-town fans have also witnessed Akshay Kumar's singing skills as well. The actor has lent his voice in various tracks of his films, including 'Singh Is Kinng', 'Special 26' and 'It's Entertainment'.
However, as per the latest reports, Akshay is all set to take the game a notch higher by crooning to a rap song in his upcoming comedy-drama 'Housefull 4'. As per reports, Farhad Samji who is directing 'Housefull 4' came up with the idea to allow Akshay to sing a rap song in the film as it was something that the actor has never done before. Farhad has directed the 2014 film 'It’s Entertainment' starring Akshay Kumar and he was the one to convince him to sing a song in the film.
Reports also suggest that producer Sajid Nadiadwala was also excited about the idea and the producer-director duo then convinced Akshay Kumar to give his nod. The song which is composed by Tanishk Bagchi is yet to be recorded and the makers are currently deliberating whether to go for a solo track or pair Akki with Mika Singh for the song.
As per reports, the film is divided into two parts, the present, and the 'Baahubali' era. The second half will be a comical take on SS Rajamouli's period drama. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film also features Rana Daggubati, Chunkey Panday, Saurabh Shukla, Johnny Lever, Jamie Lever, among others.
