KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The release date of Akshay Kumar's much-awaited movie ‘Housefull 5’ has been postponed.
Initial reports suggested a 2024 release, but according to Indian news media, the new scheduled release date is now set for June 6, 2025.

According to the report by the Hindustan Times, Housefull 5 will now arrive on a new date. The release of the film has been pushed to 2025 owing to its VFX work.
An official statement from the makers reads, "The Housefull franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Housefull 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we've made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with great cinematic experience.”
Akshay Kumar shared the update on his social media platforms, promising fans "five times" more entertainment and stating, “5 times the entertainment is on its way! See you in cinemas on 6th June, 2025.”
