Shree Airlines aircraft overshoots after a dog spotted at runway of Nepalgunj Airport

KATHMANDU, Aug 8: An aircraft belonging to Shree Airlines en route to Nepalgunj from Kathmandu 'overshot' after a dog was spotted on the runway of Nepalgunj airport during landing.

According to sources, the aircraft had 'overshot' for the first time. The aircraft landed at the aircraft only in its second attempt. "The presence of livestock on the runway of the airport is an extreme negligence of the airport administration," the source said.

The aircraft returned to Kathmandu in the afternoon.
