KATHMANDU, Jan 18: The new Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Jwalakumari Sah has instructed all related agencies to ensure that the budget is not misused.

Minister Sah stated that she had a plan in place to closely monitor all agencies under her jurisdiction, and that she will take action against any employee found to be performing poorly and will also reward those who perform well.

Speaking at a program organized by the Department of Agriculture in Lalitpur on the occasion of the first National Agricultural Biodiversity Day on Wednesday, she repeatedly said that it is her responsibility to create a working environment for the employees so that their morale does not decrease.

Mentioning that the employees of the Ministry of Agriculture should understand the problems of the farmers, she also said that they should work hard to solve those problems.

Minister Sah also said that she should focus on solving the problems of farmers. She also said that it is necessary for the country to be self-sufficient in agricultural produce.
