Afghan envoy for business cooperation with Nepal

KATHMANDU, March 10: Shaida Mohammad Abdali, the Afghanistan’s to ambassador India and also its non-resident ambassador to Nepal, has said that Nepal ‘can be the hub of strategic decision’ as it the SAARC Headquarters was based here and it also had an abundance in resources and opportunities, according to a statement issued by Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA) on Monday.

Speaking at an interaction organized by AIDIA in Kathmandu late last week, Abdali said that Nepal and Afghanistan had significant levels of investment and business cooperation.




“We have a range of sectors to collaborate on, including trade, education, culture and tourism sectors,” Abdali said. Similarly, he also highlighted the similarities between the two countries in terms of climate, culture, geography and economy.
