KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Celebrating his 42nd birthday, veteran singer Adrian Pradhan launched his fifth studio album ‘Khooshi’, at Moksh, Jhamsikhel on Sunday. Inaugurated by four of his (former and present) co-members of 1974 AD, the album contains a total of eight songs, with each song reflecting a great diversity in composition.

‘Ramailo Laagchha’ – one of the songs of this album manifests the wonderful collaboration between Adrian Pradhan and his fellow band member, Phiroj Syangden, who has penned and composed a song for Pradhan for the first time. [break]

Likewise, ‘Let’s Rock’ serves to be a groovy Rock n Roll composition, which transports every listener back to the Elvis Presley musical era. Speaking about the song, Pradhan said, “The song is arranged in a tropical style with lots of horns and is a new stuff.”

Similarly, the song ‘Khairo Khairo’ is a verification of the fact that Pradhan is in the verge of introducing newer taste in his songs. With his rich voice blended correctly with traditional Nepali beats, the track serves to be a pure appeal for the listeners who are ready to join the dance floor.

Overall, songs in the album ‘Khooshi’ encourage people to smile in every diminutive moment of life and therefore, vent the essence of living happily. Conveying such a warm message, Pradhan performed four songs from ‘Khooshi’ marking his first live performance of these songs.
