KATHMANDU, Dec 17: In the ongoing Women's U-19 Asia Cup being held in Malaysia, Nepal is set to play against India in today’s crucial fixture. 


The match will begin at 11:45 AM at the Bayumas Oval Cricket Ground in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Nepali girls entered the Super-4 after defeating Pakistan by six wickets in their first game on Monday.


The competition, which started on Sunday, includes six teams, including the host Malaysia. In Group A, there are Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka, while Group B includes Nepal, India, and Pakistan.


The team consists of 15 players, led by captain Puja Mahato. The vice-captain is Soni Pakhrin while Sana Praveen, Jyatsnika Marasini, Kusum Godar, Alisha Kumari Yadav, Sabitri Dhami, and Krishna Gurung are other team members..


Similarly, Tirsna Bishwokarma, Kiran Kumari Kunwar, Riya Sharma, Rachana Chaudhary, Simana KC, Sneha Mahara, and Anu Kadayat are also part of the team. The competition will run until December 22.
