ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup: Nepal set 142-run target for Bangladesh

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: The Nepali men’s U-19 cricket team set Bangladesh a target of 142 runs in their second match of the ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: The Nepali men’s U-19 cricket team set Bangladesh a target of 142 runs in their second match of the ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup on Sunday. 


Bangladesh won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first. Nepal scored 141 runs in 45.4 overs at the loss of all wickets.

Akash Tripathi was the top scorer with 43 runs off 77 balls, while Uttam Thapa Magar and Abishek Tiwari both contributed 29 runs each. The rest of the Nepali batters failed to reach double figures.


For Bangladesh, Mohammad Rijan Hossain, Mohammad Al Fahad, and Mohammad Iqbal Hasan Emon each took two wickets, while Saad Islam Razin, Rafi Uzman Rafi, and Azizul Hakimi Tamim claimed one wicket each.
