According to a press statement issued by CNP today, a joint team of police and the national park authority nabbed Chepang of Shaktikhor-3 VDC from his hide-out on last Friday.[break]
Chepang had been eluding arrest as CNP had filed a case against Chepang and another man Biul Bote some 5 years ago. On February 2012, the CNP had sentenced to fifteen years in prison and slapped a fine of Rs 100, 000 by the CNP, Hareram Das, chief conservation officer at the park, informed.
