KHOTANG, Sept 8: Absconding culprit, Deviraj Rai of Diktel, Madhuwagadhi municipality-12 has been sentenced to jail for a murder he committed 26 years ago in July, 1990.

Rai was one of the 15 people who was found guilty in a court's hearing on July 22, 1992 of a murder in July 1990. Those found guilty have already completed their time in prison. Rai was arrested on September 6 from Itahari sub-metropolitan city-20, DSP Raj Kumar KC of District Police Office, Khotang said.
