Abducted Chief Bir Bahadur Gharti set free

ROLPA, Sept 17: Abducted Chief Bir Bahadur Gharti has been set free on late Saturday. 

The cadres of the Biplov led Communist Party of Nepal were behind Gharti's abduction planned with an aim to disrupt the 1st Village Assembly of Thawang rural municipality scheduled to be inaugurated by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Saturday.

“I was allegedly abducted by a group of 10 – 12 people telling me to resign from my post and to halt the visit of CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal for the inauguration”, said Bir Bahadur Gharti.
