KATHMANDU, Sept 22: A-Division outfit Ruslan Three Star Club Friday named a 25-member squad, including two foreign players, for the upcoming Martyr’s Memorial A-Division League slated from September 29.
The team, which has won the A-Division League four times, and last won it in the 2012-13 season, is one of the title favorites.
The squad consists of four national team players who were in the squad for the recently concluded 2018 SAFF Suzuki Cup in Bangladesh in which Nepal was defeated 3-0 by Maldives in the semifinals.

Second choice goalkeeper of the national team Alan Neupane is the first choice goalkeeper for the club, while other goalkeeper in the squad are Abhishek Baral and Purna Chemjong.
Key national center back Ananta Tamang is sure shot in the team, while other defenders in Three Star are Ranjit Dhimal, Bijay Dhimal, Bishnu Sunar, Ashok Khawas, Jeevan Gurung and Nigerian international Peter Segun.
The midfield list consists of two national players Nirajan Khadka, who made his national team return after five years in Bangladesh, along with influential Sunil Bal, who was a key player for Nepal in the tournament. The other midfielders for Three Star are Bikram Lama, Rupesh KC, Mishan Lama, Mikchhen Tamang, Dipesh Ghale, Sushil Rai and Dipson Raut.
There are no national players in the forward line, but former national team captain Anil Gurung makes his place in the team, with Ranjan Bista, Buddha Limbu, Susan Shrestha, Jenish Prajapati and African international Ajayi Martins.
However, there was no information on national striker Bimal Gharti Magar.
Three Star will start its league campaign against Friends’ Club on October 1 at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato.
