Ktm-bound Air India, Jet Airways flights delayed due to bomb threats

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: Two more aircrafts en route to Kathmandu from New Delhi has been delayed following a bomb threat on Wednesday.

According to India Today, the authorities at the airport received the call claiming that there was 'gift on the seat' in Jet Airways and Air India.

The phone could not be traced as it was made through Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), the site added.

Meanwhile, Jet Airways has issued a press statement stating that flight 9W 260 scheduled to depart from Delhi to Kathmandu at 1325 hrs has been delayed due to a security alert.

"All 122 guests and 7 crew have been taken to the departure waiting area at the airport," Jet Airways added.
