KATHMANDU, July 10: Ratan Kumar Tandon and Parth Sarathi Sen Gupta were re-elected as the president and general secretary of Nepal Weightlifting Association on Friday.
The third general assembly of the association held in the capital unanimously elected the 19-member executive committee for the next four years. National Sports Council (NSC) member and Olympian Surendra Bahadur Hamal, former NSC Vice president Ganga Bahadur Thapa and Olympian Sunil Lal Joshi were elected vice presidents.

Similarly, Tilak Bahadur Raut, Sanjay Maharjan and Ishwar Bahadur Shrestha were elected secretary, co-secretary and treasurer respectively.
Bijendra Bikram Shah, Pradip Kumar Shrestha, Amar Chandra Anil, Dinesh Bhujel, Gita Shrestha, Sanu Kumar Maharjan, Rajendra Pradhan, Jagdish Pradhan, Rohit Kumar Tandon, Samsuddin Siddiqui and Rukesh Tandukar were elected as members.
