The new product launched here on Wednesday has been introduced in partnership with India's Medanta Hospital.Acting CEO of the bank Rajib Giri and Medanta Hospital's Marketing Vice President Rajiv Mishra signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect. As per the MoU, Medanta Hospital will set up a separate information center at the hospital as well as offer priority to the account holders on pre-appointment, admission, consultation and follow up services at the hospital. The account holders will get five percent discount in the hospital if they pay through the 'co-branded' debit card.
According to a statement of the bank, the account holders can also avail medical insurance worth Rs 10,000, and special discount on locker charge, internet banking, mobile banking and consumer loan.
Speaking at the press meet, bank's acting CEO Giri said that the new product will provide a great relief to thousands of patients who reach Medanta Hospital for treatment annually. Similarly, Medanta's Mishra said that the tie-up with the bank was a part of corporate social responsibility of the hospital.
