75-year-old arrested for child rape

CHARIKOT, Sept 22: A 75-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday over the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl in Dolakha.

Padam Bahadur Tamang of Katakuti VDC, Dolakha raped a local girl some 15 days ago, District Police Office Dolakha informed.

Tamang who owns a shop in the village raped the girl when the latter visited his shop.

The case was filed after 12 days of the incident, Sub-inspector Bhata Raj Shrestha.
