Mohamam Abu Talim, 13 and Mohamam Intaj, 13 of Dainiya along with other three other boys had been taken to India some two months ago by a person (middleman) called Mohammed Sajan, promising them lucrative job there. But, they had been confined to a button polishing factory at Simalpur where they had to work for continuous 16 hours with out sufficient food, the rescued boys said who later managed to escape from there by taking little amount from the factory owner.
They came into contact with the Sarsa district-based child organisation, were rescued by it and handed over to the Maiti Nepal. The factory used to pay them just Rs 2,500 each per month. Among three boys who had been trafficked to India with them, one has already fled while remaining two are still in the clutch of factory, according to rescued children.
A total of 59 cases of child missing from Morang were registered in the Maiti Nepal in 2014. Of them, only eight have been rescued. Of the missing children, 46 are boys.
Nepali boys rescued from Indian orphanage
