Sapkota urges poll-opposing parties not to challenge people's right

KATHMANDU, Oct. 26: UCPN (Maoist) spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota has said that no one has right to obstruct the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.



At a regular weekly press meet organized at the party headquarters, Paris Danda, Saturday morning, Sapkota said that the nationwide anti-poll activities carried out by the CPN-Maoist were illegal.[break]



He also urged the agitating parties not to challenge the people´s right by conducting the anti-poll campaigns.



Sapkota also said that imposing strikes and thrashing the candidates of the UCPN (Maoist) are wrong steps. He added that government´s main responsibility is to conttol such activities.
