SARLAHI, June 7: Sarlahi police has rescued seven-year-old boy, who had been kidnapped from Barhathwa of Sarlahi district, from India.
Rakesh Yadav, son of cattle trader Pukar Yadav of Barhathwa-6, was rescued from Bairganiya of India with the help of Indian police, said District Police Office, Sarlahi.
Yadav had been abducted while he was playing in front of his house two weeks ago. Police have already arrested eight individuals on the charge of kidnapping the minor.
The kidnappers had demanded Rs 5 million for ransom from the victim’s family.
