INARWA, Oct 4:Naya Shakti Party coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai has insisted on the need for amending the constitution without any further delay.
Taking part in an interaction program on" one year of the promulgation of constitution, its implementation, challenges and a future course of action' organised today in Inaruwa, the district headquarters of Sunsari, former Prime Minister Bhattarai voiced that the constitution amendment was essential to institutionalise secularism, democracy and a federal republic, the major achievements of the constitution.
He was of the view of amending the statute, addressing the voices of the Madhesis, Tharus, indigenous and nationalities so as to achieve a durable peace in the country. RSS
