GALESHWOR, May 1: In a disheartening event while all the laborers across the globe including Nepal are celebrating the 130th International Labour Day today, a man working for the road expansion project at Chutreni along the Beni-Darbang road section in Myagdi district lost his life in line with his duty.
Kaluram Tharu, 35, of Thakurdwara, Madhuwan-2 died when a heap of mud and stones befell on him at the place he was working at, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Myagdi.
Buried under the heaps of mud and died on the spot, police said. A team of police dispatched by the DPO, Myagdi and locals retrieved the dead body of Tharu using excavator, added police. RSS
