KATHMANDU, Sept. 26: Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed confidence that Russia-Nepal relations would further develop fruitfully for the benefit of both countries in the interest of security and stability in South Asia.
Giving a message on the occasion of the 60th year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Russian President Putin said, "Russia and Nepal have good prospect of developing cooperation in energy sector, metallurgy, infrastructure and civil aviation."
Moreover, he said Russia and Nepal have solid tradition of engagement in the sphere of culture, education and tourism. "In the coming month, we're looking forward for the visit of the delegation of Nepali parliamentarians to Russia," he added. RSS
