Man held with Indian currency notes in Tatopani

SINDHUPALCHOWK, May 30: The police on Thursday nabbed a man with Indian currency notes worth Rs 1.3 million .



The Armed Police Force (APF)´s custom security squad mobilized at Tatopani Custom Office held Shyam Shrestha of Tatopani-3, Kodari, for carrying banned Indian currency which was being smuggled to Khasa, this morning.[break]



According to DSP Dinesh Malla, they recovered the Indian currency notes of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 denominations from him.



Police said that further investigation is underway on the crime.
