Cubit smartphones now in Nepal

KATHMANDU, May 22: The Mobi King has been appointed national distributor for sales and service of Cubit smartphones in Nepal.

Cubit Tech is yet another Indian smartphone maker to enter the Nepali market.



Mukesh Kumar Sharma, managing director of The Mobi King, said the company introduced Cubit phones in Nepal as the demand for smartphones is increasing. “Cubit smartphones have the best technology and are available at affordable price. It is in line with our mission of providing ´technology with quality and service at competitive prices,” Sharma said, adding, “That is why we partnered with Cubit Tech.” [break]



The Mobi King has introduced seven models of Cubit smartphones in Nepal. It plans to introduce more models very soon.



Cubit Subway, Royal Plus, Crave4U, 4UCoral, 4U Sapphire Plus, 4U Plus, Majestic and Elite are the phone currently available in Nepal. These smartphones have display ranging from 3.5 inch to 5.5 inch. They use Android operating system - ranging from Gingerbread to the latest Jelly Bean.

“Customers look for sensitive touch screen, camera with good picture quality, longer battery life and display while buying smartphones. Our smartphones meet people´s expectations on all the aforesaid features that to at affordable prices,” Suresh Nair, chairman and managing director of Cubit Tech, said.



With the availability of these phones in Nepal, officials of Cubit Tech said customers can now be assured of longer battery life and all other features at affordable price.



Cubit smartphones are available in price range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 24,000.



Talking about smartphones market in Nepal, Nair said cost effectiveness and availability of array of features with advance technology have propelled the demand for smartphones across Nepal. Smartphones by Indian companies are priced much lower as compared to global brands and consumers get the same operating system at a lower price,” he added.



Cubit phones will be available across the country. It will be backed by excellent after sales service and support, according to Cubit Tech officials.
