The project was founded by Bowei Gai who is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and fire starter behind the World Startup Report. "The project, among others, has been sponsored by 500 startups , StartupDigest , Startup Weekend and LinkedIn , and provides readers with a global network of startup ambassadors and insights into the market trends, cultural challenges and opportunities for new ventures outside of the Silicon Valley," said the statement.
Tech MashUp is being organized on the occasion of the World Startup Report team´s visit to Nepal. "This is the first event of this kind organized to create a stronger network and ecosystem for tech innovation in the country," said the statement.
The event will bring tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, students, tech communities, developers, designers, coders and investors together under a single venue for casual meeting and exchange of information and discussion on tech culture in Nepal, according to the company.
