ITAHARI, July 3: Six Indian tourists died and four injured in a jeep accident(Scorpio, BR 06 PB 6418) that took place in East-west highway of Koshi rural municipality on Monday night.
They were returning from Namaste fall, Dhankuta while they met with an accident where three died on the spot and rest three during the treatment.

Accoding to District Police Office Sunsari, the Scorpio driver had consumed alcohol. The deceased have been identified as Laliyadevi Raya, Surendra Raya and Dhirendra Raya of India. Laliyadevi, Surendra and Dhirendra died on the spot. Remaining three who died during their treatment at Sanjini Hospital, Biratnagar are Sanjib Kumar,40, Gonu Kumar, 7, and a 40 years woman informed DSP Narayan Chimariya.
Driver Sushil Kamat,26 and other three are receiving treatment at Sanjini Hospital, Biratnagar.
