Poisonous mushroom kills four (updated)

PANCHTHAR, June 28: The death toll from mushroom poisoning in Lumphabung-2 of Panchthar reached four on Sunday after two more members of the family died while undergoing treatment. Two members had died after consuming wild mushroom on Saturday.



Those who died on Sunday are Chandra Raj Lawati, 69, and his daughter Meena, 36. Chandra´s two other daughters 19-year-old Newa Lawati and 11-year-old Netra Kumari Lawati died on Saturday night.
