The mini truck (Ba 2 Kha 9051) was heading for Dapcha Chhetrabangh VDC for one Prabin Pariyar´s wedding. The deceased have been identified as Kauche Kancha Bhujel, 45, of Kanpur VDC and Jagdish Nepali, 26, of Macche VDC of Kavre. [break]
“The marriage party was heading for the marriage in two vehicles. All of a sudden the mini truck in front of us skidded off the road right before our eyes,” said injured Dinesh BK, who is undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital.
“The mini-truck was carrying around 25 people,” added BK. All the injured have been admitted to Dhulikhel Hospital. One Kancha Nepali, 50, was critically injured in the accident and has been referred to Kathmandu.
Superintendent of Police Geeta Uppreti of Kavre said investigation into the incident is underway.
