One killed, 3 injured in tipper accident

LAHAN, June 27: One person was killed and three others injured when a tipper they were traveling in overturned near Rupani in Saptari along the East-West Highway on Saturday. The tipper (Na 3 Kha 4081) met with the accident while trying to give way to a vehicle coming from the opposite direction, the police said. The tipper was heading to Lahan from Rajbiraj.



The deceased has been identified as Mahesh Yadav, 25, of Theliya, Saptari. Umesh Yadav, Sakira Khatun and Bhima Khatun of Saptari were injured in the accident and are being treated at Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, the police said.
