The report compiles the activities carried out by the Commission during the Fiscal Year 2011/12.
During the period, the Commission announced vacancies for a total of 3,592 vacant posts in civil service and for additional 1,283 posts for the inclusive group.
Likewise, in response to the suggestion sought from various offices for departmental action, the report says that the Commission recommended warning against six, stopping salary increment against 40, promotion halt against nine and 33 civil servants term unfit for civil service in the future.
The Commission also responded in writing to 55 writs where the PSC was also named as a defendant.
Pointing out the challenges faced by the Commission in course of performing its duties, the report also makes various recommendations to increase the efficiency and attraction of the civil service.
