KANCHANPUR, Nov 6: Parliamentarians both from Nepal and India of the bordering areas have agreed to construct a dry port at Kanchabhoj of Mahakali Municipality.
At a programme organized at Dodhara-Chadani on Tuesday, Parliamentarian of Kanchanpur-3 Dr. Deepak Prakash Bhatta said that with the construction of the dry port at the proposed place will benefit the locals of both countries. He further shared that India should facilitate to develop the dry port.
Similarly, Parliamentarian of Uttarakhand in India, Pushkar Singh Dhami committed to supporting to construct the dray port at the place.
Also speaking at the program, Far West Province Assembly Member Man Bahadur Sunar urged the Indian side to initiate to control the inundation caused by the water diverted from Nanglescape of India to Jogbudha River. RSS
